Orhun Emre ÇELİK
After graduating from the Department of Industrial Engineering at Istanbul Technical University, Orhun Emre Çelik continued his education with a Master's Program in Industrial Engineering at the same university and a PhD Program in Finance and Banking at Kadir Has University.
He began his career in 1998 as an "Actuary Assistant" at the Insurance Supervisory Board of the Undersecretariat of Treasury. Between 2003 and 2009, he worked as an Actuary, Senior Executive, Auditor, and Board Member in various insurance companies and holdings.
As of March 2009, Orhun Emre Çelik started his consultancy activities by establishing the Orhun Emre Çelik Management and Actuarial Consultancy company. In 2018, he founded PREFUS Consultancy Joint Stock Company with its new structure.
Orhun Emre Çelik, who served on the Board of Directors of the Actuaries Association in 2008, assumed the presidency of the association from 2012 to 2018. He is still member of the Insurance Audit Personnel Association and Actuaries Association.
Çelik, occasionally lecturing as a guest lecturer at universities, is registered with number 40 in the Actuaries Registry.
